Today, we continue to advance two joint projects between PIMSA and the 24th City Council, focusing on security and sustainability. In an era when sustainability is a global priority, we recognize that every action counts. Therefore, the donation of these two hybrid patrol cars is designed not only to enhance security operations but also to reduce environmental impact, reaffirming our commitment to greener and more sustainable development. This initiative is part of our company’s decarbonization program and aligns with our sustainable construction projects, such as building industrial facilities with LEED certification. This approach includes measures like energy efficiency, solar panel installation, LED lighting, and water conservation and reuse in our buildings and industrial parks, among others. I want to highlight that the other two patrol cars donated by PIMSA to the Public Security Directorate three years ago will today be given to DARE in perfect operational condition.

This event showcases the commitment and social responsibility that PIMSA has demonstrated throughout nearly 58 years in Mexicali. These values are the foundation of our corporate culture, which we proudly maintain within our community. Thank you for joining us at this significant moment.

Additionally, it’s important to note that the estimated investment for PIMSA VIII Park, where we are located, will exceed $80 million over the next 6 years. This investment will undoubtedly bring substantial benefits to our city, creating well-paying jobs and fostering sustainable economic development. To achieve these goals, it is essential for us to continue collaborating with the three fundamental pillars of any society: citizens, private initiative, and government.

We extend our gratitude to the 24th City Council for its ongoing dedication and effort towards our community’s security and well-being. We believe this collaboration between the private and public sectors is crucial to tackling current challenges and building a safer, more sustainable environment. I would also like to congratulate the Firefighters on their day and extend special thanks to the Heroic Fire Department and the Public Security Directorate of Mexicali for their support, particularly their work in recent months during various incidents in our city. Additionally, we appreciate the support provided to the industrial sector on competitiveness issues.
